South African Orion Duet Ministries ( Lungile and Nkazi Sinandiles) and founders of the Immigrant And Refugee Resource Village of Albuqueque and New Mexico Women’s Global Pathways and the Matunda Ya Yesu African Refugee Youth Choir are giving back to the community that welcomes and nurtures them by singing traditionally inspired uplifting African rhythms during an event that will raise funds for Bernalillo residents who are travelling to India for a mission trip. The choir kids were born in refugee camps of Tanzania and Uganda and one was born in the U.S.A.

The event that will feature live auction, tasty food and African music sung in Kiswahili, Xhosa, Kirundi, Zulu, Kinyarwanda and English will take place at Harwood Art Center, 1114 Seventh Street, NW, Albuquerque, 87102 at 06.30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26th 2016.
The youth choir rehearses on Tuesdays at Manzano Mesa Multi Generational Center from 6.30p.m.  Please share. Thanks.
